Position : Data SME with Healthcare Location : Bradford, PA (Day 1 Onsite) Duration : 12 Months Contract Local consultants of Pennsylvania are highly preferred. Position Description: The Healthcare Payer Domain Data SME works with business/functional user in defining the data strategy/road map to enable the organization to make data driven decisions. Conduct sessions with business users/IT leaders, analyzes data to determine business problems, including patient services and how the services are paid. Work collaboratively with business users and various IT lead and team members to get the Data strategy and road map approved. Will also ensure adherence to compliance policies and contracts. Key Qualifications: 8 years in the Healthcare Payer / PBM industries and have good understanding of the various functional domains and data requirements. Operating within a large corporate (or global) environment with sensitive data (PII, PHI, etc.) and compliance requirements. The ability to translate business requirements into technology requirements and define data standards and principles. Good understanding of Cloud Technologies, Data Lake, Data warehouse, Data Modeling, Analytics & Reporting and other leading technology trends in data. Knowledge and experience with Medicare & Medicaid services is must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to explain complex concepts to a wide variety of individuals with varying technical skills. Inquisitive and resourceful- not afraid to network within the organizations to ask relevant questions. Team builder and facilitator of cross team discussions with proven ability to identify and remove roadblocks and resolve issues. Responsibilities: Lead, consult, advise and engage in driving successful completion of various data programs / projects across Payer customers. Analyze healthcare business and data requirements, refine, and grow data lake and warehouse data architectures, data models, and data integration systems, Lead the data architecture, modeling and integration development and implementation activities and teams. Working as a senior member of an implementation team working on large, complex and industry leading data projects Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses Defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data such as clients, vendors, materials, and employees Defining reference architecture, which is a pattern that others can follow to create and improve data systems. Defining data flows, i.e., which parts of the organization generate data, which require data to function, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition. Collaborating and coordinating with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors Employ best-practices and standards with security, privacy, and regulatory needs in mind.
