JOB Description: An understanding of the basic architectural principles of building on the AWS Cloud. Ability to identify and define technical requirements for an AWS-based application. Ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement. Experience in designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3. Experience building and maintaining cloud-native applications. A solid background in Linux/Unix and Windows server system administration. Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and Sonar Qube. Experience installing and configuring different application servers such as .NET, JBoss, Tomcat, and WebLogic. An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Experience in Supporting, Troubleshooting Atlassian Platform Applications. Planning, designing and executing complex applications level solutions configuration. Identification of customer requirements, analysis of alternatives and conducting product recommendations associated with platform, software and network configurations. Able to handle MySQL, PostgreSQL Databases DBA Activities. Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Actively participate in system solutions as they relate to cost-benefit and risk-reward analysis, strategy, roadmaps, and execution. Select the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements. Work with application engineers and stakeholders to understand and execute cloud solutions that meet business requirements. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum concepts and experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
