Role Description
OCI Admin with Apps DBA skills
Having 9+ years of experience in Oracle Apps DBA and OCI (IaaS/PaaS) admin skills. Hands-on experience on OCI Networking concepts Including VCN, subnets, route tables, security lists, VPN tunnels, Fast Connect, NAT, ISG Gateways, Apply OCI Load Balancer concepts Design and implement highly secure, available, cost efficient solutions for migrating Data Centers from On-Prem to OCI. Sound knowledge in building Compute VMs using Custom Images, boot volume management, Console connection options, VM Snapshot management. Sound Understanding of storage concepts Storage best practices, storage performance metrics, block volumes, object storage, file storage service. Should be familiar with Identity and Access Management (IAM)- Users, groups, policies, compartments, federation using SAML & Identity cloud service. Architect HA and DR Solutions for PAAS services like Exadata, Autonomous Databases (ATP, ADW), RAC & Datagaurd. Oracle Apps DBA experience in handling large and complex E-Business environments in 12.1/R12.2
• In-depth understanding of Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, Data Guard , RAC, ASM) • Responsible for installation, upgrades (EBS R12.2, Database 12c& 19c, RAC 19c), patches, SR support, database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning • Ability to driver performance issues and complex architecture issues • Should be proficient in Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c/13c installation, configuration & administration • Good scripting skills to automate regular tasks • Experience in installation, setup and administration of Oracle Fusion Middleware platform • Planning and implementing backup solutions • Ability to pick up new technologies and adapt to the trend • Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards • Should be good team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in lieu of every year of education • Min 5 years of experience in Information Technology
