Data Governance Analyst

in our

North America Insurance Operations

team.

Our North America Insurance Operations team is dedicated to supporting our underwriting teams. By partnering closely with our business units and corporate functions, we help create additional capacity to drive the success of our underwriters. We focus on implementing best practices, standardizing processes, and developing our staff's competencies to ultimately deliver greater efficiencies and create scalable, sustainable processes.

The position is responsible for working within Data Governance Team, which is part of global Business Data Management Team. Key areas of responsibility include working within Data Governance Framework, establishing data standards for key data elements; work with Data Owners and Data Stewards on data definitions, ensure robust Data Ownership/Stewardship model is in place and properly functioning; helping with all Data Governance related initiatives to ensure consistency of internally and externally reported information.

What you'll be doing:

Support Head of Data Governance in engagements with business usersContribute to the development and implementation of Data Governance Framework to increase organizational efficiency and optimize data analytics practices.Collaborate with Information Technology partners for data governance related initiatives.Using Collibra Data Governance Platform, maintain Global Data Glossary, help implementing Data Lineage to catalogue data assets.Work with Business and IT to document and implement data standards for key data elementsPerform complex data analysis; identify and determine root cause for data quality items impacting the business; recommends solutions and strategies in line with the data governance strategy and approach.What you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Accounting, or Finance.3+ years working in the insurance industry.Ability to engage with the business with little supervision.Experience performing data analysis and reporting required.Experience in Project Management and capable of working independently.Previous experience using Collibra Data Governance module is a big plusStrong technical expertise using data analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, SharePoint, SQL and BI tools.Salary Range:

$85,000 - $145,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.

The total compensation opportunity for all regular, full-time employees is a combination of base salary and incentives that gets adjusted upfront based on overall Company performance with final awards based on individual performance.
