Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will

s upport overall people development and corporate goals by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, health and safety, employee relations and retention, and legal compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:HR Administration - Administers and maintains various human resource plans and procedures for the organization, including company handbooks, workers' compensation, and new hire orientation.Compliance - Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations, as they pertain to labor law, workers compensation and safety. Leads the Safety Committee by setting up meetings, ensuring safety issues identified are addressed.Performance Evaluation Administration -Administers the company employee performance evaluation system by providing documentation and guidance to supervisors and above. This includes sending review notifications, monitoring review completion for timeliness and accuracy, and maintaining documentation and records.Compensation -Maintain, promote, and advocate for, the company wage and compensation philosophy. Research and maintain awareness of industry trends and changes, compensation strategies, and make recommendations to leadership team to ensure our compensation competitiveness.Employee Relations - Actively works to resolve workplace conflicts arising from personnel disputes, employee dissatisfaction, and undesirable workplace environment. Act as the liaison between employees and Senior Management. Make recommendations to Senior Management, as necessary, for improvements to systems and practices to encourage employee engagement. Guide and mentor company supervisors on topics such as goal setting, interpersonal communication, counseling, and discipline.Benefits Administration - Supports employee benefits programs such as COBRA, health, dental, optical, and life insurances, Paid Time Off (PTO), etc.HR Information Systems -Manage the company HR Information Systems. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all information and documents stored in the system. Continuously look for ways to improve the efficiency of use of the system and ways the system can be used to reduce time for other tasksPerforms other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.Education and Experience:

A minimum of three years of human resource experience preferred.Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.We offer:
