Duties and Responsibilities

EDI Experience IS A MUST

ULTA BEAUTY, WALMART, CVS, WALGREENS, TARGET , ETC.

Provides EDI production support and coordinates new EDI setup. This role monitors EDI systems, resolves issues and works with the Order Management Team and Warehouse to ensure daily business processes flow without interruption from EDI.Monitor EDI communications with internal/external partners to insure no interruptions.Use EDI application dashboard and reports to manager overall health of EDI.Process and monitor all inbound and outbound transactions.Identify, troubleshoot & track EDI related issues with internal/external partners to resolution.Manage daily EDI production support with Trading Partners, Order Management Team and Warehouses.Coordinate setup of new EDI trading partners and documents.Assist EDI testing with data setup and document testing with trading partner.Recommend system and/or business process improvements that streamline EDI.Maintain detailed documentation and process flows of all EDI processes.Assist with the design and maintenance of Vantage Point Application triggers using SQL queriesEssential Functions

Logistics:

Communicate with client, carrier and internal teams to manage and resolve billing and/or rate issuesManage aspects of account setup including generating web users, EDI, BOL and carrier account numbersEstablish strong relationships with clients, carriers and internal team membersResponsible for daily execution of transportation needs, including tracking and scheduling shipments, communicating status updates with internal team and clientsIdentify opportunities and offer recommendations to implement solutions and improve cost efficiency by analyzing client's shipment dataManage and resolve daily carrier service issues, failures and delaysPerform critical customer service functions, which include daily interface with assigned clients, order building, expediting, load tendering to LTL and TL incumbent carriers and event exception managementCoordinate and oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including demand planning, order picking, packaging, and distribution.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.Manage inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize warehouse space.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to transportation, storage, and handling of goods.Qualification/Requirements:

Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Software: Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing using professional etiquetteMust have strong organizational and "follow-up" skillsDemonstrated ability to work as a teamAbility to provide sound problem solvingAbility to pay excellent attention to detailAbility to work independently and with minimal guidanceExperience analyzing and interpreting written material and quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on that dataTwo (2) years of EDI experience is preferred.Experience with EDI documents in retail industry such as 850/856/810/940/945 a plusProven experience in logistics or supply chain management.Strong knowledge of operations management principles and practices.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Proficiency in using logistics software systems to track shipments, inventory, and orders.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and 3PL providers.Ability to analyze data and generate reports to drive operational improvements.Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of two years' experience in transportation industry Or logistic fieldMinimum of one years' experience in a customer service or related environmentNote: Experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and buying is preferred but not required.
