Your Tasks:Responsible for technical coordination and decisions regarding technical issues in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and the specialist departmentsLeader of all technical personnel for a project (internal & external)Coordination with project management for project scheduleControlling of the projects to achieve minimal manufacturing costs and schedule targetsMain engineering interface regarding technique, quality, and target dates of a projectSupports/substitutes the Senior Project Manager in the case of an absenceResponsible for technical communication with the customerOverall, responsible for the technical clarification of the project with the customer, in collaboration with the engineering areasYour Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering and automotive paint facility project execution experienceProfound knowledge & experience of Paint & Final assembly Systems (PFS) such as Pre-Treatment & E-Coat systems, work decks and application systems, building utility systems, spray booths and paint application systems, ovens, coolers systems used in automotive manufacturing facilities - minimum 10 years' experience in paint shop engineering and Project Management, direct Durr product knowledge preferredStrong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilityExperience in layout design management throughout project life cycleKnowledge of fully automated paint facilities (Paint, Sealer, Liquid Applied Sound Deadener LASD application robots & circulation systems) and experience in implementing industry 4.0 solutions in new or existing paint facilitiesKnowledge of explosive atmospheres & management methods in a paint shop environmentKnowledge of Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA) in an automotive manufacturing environmentProficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPointKnowledge & experience of using of SAP preferredAbility to understand and maintain project schedulesGood time management & organizational skillsGood verbal communication & technical writing skillsAble to effectively communicate with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers, and customersAble to work well independently and in a team environmentAble to technically define problems and propose solutionsAdaptable to change in a learning environmentOther duties as assigned
