Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various warehouse activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. The incumbent will organize stock, maintain inventory, and process, pack and ship orders ensuring that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention.

In the absence of the Warehouse associate, another Warehouse associate within the department will oversee the daily duties and responsibilities regarding operation workflow and adherence to the SOPs and cGMPs.

** MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED**

Employee ResponsibilitiesAdhere to cGMP and SOPs.Report any situations that might have a negative effect on food safety or quality immediately to supervisor or QA Department.Ensure food safety and quality are maintained according to company standards.Comply with policies and procedures to prepare and pack products under sanitary conditions that do not expose it to the risk of contamination.Operate and maintain a clean and hygienic standard of operation. Follow Company cGMP's (Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Policies at all times)Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise using a forklift and pallet jack.process, pack, and ship orders accurately.Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.Inventory cycle counting.Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift).Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs.Meeting regulatory compliance requirements.Perform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and other required quality assurance steps that confirm the contents of each order while tracking inventory for the company.Perform other duties as assigned.** MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED**

High School Diploma or equivalent required.1+ years of warehouse experience highly preferred.Forklift Certification

QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: (change as needed, depending on physical demand (sedentary, etc.)

Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, to operate a motor vehicle and forklift; stand, walk, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to various outdoor and indoor environments (i.e. general office, industrial complexes, food processing plants, semiconductor labs, clean rooms, etc., some of which can be hazardous). Temperature variances, high noise levels, and dusty environments may be encountered.
