Job Description Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the lead function within the broader Advisory Services arm of Visa, driving tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's network clients, including financial institutions, merchants, governments and fintechs. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, marketing, operational improvement and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. The Business Analyst will be a member of the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) Global Strategy & Operations team and will be focused on developing dashboards and reporting to be leveraged by leadership and regional stakeholders. This person will work closely with Global S&O, regional stakeholders, and our IT development team to collect requests, develop, and maintain dashboards. Responsibilities: Work closely with the VCA Global dashboard team to collect and prioritize requests, scope requirements, design, and build out dashboards Data validation and ensuring correct data is represented Maintain existing dashboards by troubleshooting discrepancy or technical issues Act as backup support if technical Power BI resource away Given global nature of the role, flexibility to accommodate meetings across many time zones may be required. This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * 2 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) Preferred Qualifications: * 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) * 3-5 years of experience, ideally working with data for most of that time * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail * Proactive, problem-solving mindset * Ability to work independently and manage one's time * Ability to accurately document and record issues for follow-up, and commitment to follow-through to closure * Judgement on when to ask for guidance and when to carry on independently * Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tool Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
