Network Engineer

Work with existing network engineers in, maintaining and implementing mid to large scale network projects. Working knowledge of Cisco network environment, ability to support a wide range of infrastructure technologies including troubleshooting Cisco Routing and Switching, WAN/LAN, Cisco VoIP, Cisco Wireless, Unified Communications, enterprise, border and optimization management architectures/systems (Cisco ISE AD, Citrix, and Netscalers). Performs network assessments and capacity planning. Conducts routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Develops and maintains appropriate configuration, design and SOP documentation. Knowledge of ticketing systems and associated workflow. Vendor involvement and management. Provides 24x7 technical support and responsiveness at all times, including on-call rotations.
Education
Associates Degree : in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
2 Years experience in Network engineering, design, and implementation experience (Required)
2 Years experience with hands-on experience in telecommunications or network engineering (Required)
2 Years experience in IT infrastructure or related IT experience (Required)
General experience and knowledge working with LAN switch technology (including large scale LAN network, STP, VTP domain management, network test methods and equipment) (Preferred)
License/Certifications
CCNA - Cisco Cert Network Associate (Preferred)
