The ICU Nurse carries much responsibility in the ICU. The responsibilities may include;
Checking in on patients often while changing their dressings, administering medication, and monitoring vital signs
Patient, family, and friends health education and consistent updates
Physical assessments of patients to ensure their current state.
Work collaboratively with PRN's and CNA's
