In this role, you will:
Assist with the management implementation of mission-critical infrastructureParticipate in analysis of environments and come up with suggestions for improvements to existing processes as well as provide feedback for creating new onesAudit environments on an ongoing basis as a means of implementing security best practicesAct as a point of escalation for SOC analystsProvide mentorship to the SOC analysts as needed for help with security analysis/investigationAssist in the implementation and maintenance of web application security scanningLearn and pilot new tools as and when needed
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong interest in hands-on security monitoring demonstrated by work experience, academics, and security certificationsStrong knowledge of security best practices inside and outside of the cloudIntermediate familiarity with AWS and Azure. Knowledge of services like Lambda, IAM, Kubernetes, Azure Event Hubs, Microsoft Defender for cloud, etc.Experience with CSPM tools such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Tenable or QualysAbility to differentiate between true and false positivesExperience with compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171.2Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Git, Python, and TerraformExperience with Azure Office 365 and SharePointBasic Windows and Linux Server administration skillsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems and processesA focus on customer service, strong communication skills and a team player mentalityHands-on experience with SIEM tools (running queries and creating alerts) is a plusExperience with Jira and case management is a plusSplunk or other SIEM tools is a plusProficiency in languages such as python and terraform is a plusInfra-automation & Containerization is a plus
Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
