The Summer 2025 Internship Experience is a full time position
June 3, 2025 to August 1, 2025 . All interns will be based out of our main location in Parsons, Kansas. Anticipate the possibility of employer paid travel to project sites, events, and trainings during the internship. Applicants should be prepared to attach a cover letter, resume, and two letters of recommendation to the online application.
Position Summary:
The Marketing & Design Intern will assist in implementing a wide variety of marketing content through various marketing channels. This position will develop marketing materials within the scope of Tank Connection's branding requirements. Areas of focus may include print and digital content, social media, interactive media, video production, technical writing as well as photography.
Marketing and Design Intern Duties and Responsibilities will vary by intern based on skills, company needs and intern interest emphasis.Graphic design skills including layout design, typography, color, balance, and current design trends.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft platforms, primarily InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.Video and animation skills are a plus.Critical eye for detail and great organizational skills.Ability to be creative with design and meet the technical and graphic requirements for Tank Connection's branding and image.Knowledge of social media integration such as Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram.Maintain ongoing knowledge and skills of current technology trends and media platform.Able to work proactively or independently on a broad range of projects.Able to handle constructive criticism and produce multiple revisions on projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Marketing and Design Intern- Education and Qualifications:
College Level Junior or SeniorDesired Major(s)- Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications.
Marketing and Design Intern Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of Marketing and Design Intern, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Marketing and Design Intern Work Environment:
While performing the duties of Marketing and Design Intern, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
