GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Data Analyst, you will be working on a team providing the design and implementation of a new cloud-based data platform to support firmwide digital transformation. The Data Analyst empowers the firm to make data-driven decisions and provides critical business insights that help us deliver a world-class client experience. We are seeking a talented and motivated technical expert to accelerate our efforts to drive trust, adoption, and democratization of insights externally to our clients as well as internally to our advisors, leadership, and other stakeholders.

The Data Analyst works closely with our technical teams to deliver well-defined, transformed, tested, documented, and code-reviewed analytical datasets that are the single source of truth for reliable and consistent results. The ideal candidate will love working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment to explore data and create analytics to support decision making. This position is hybrid in Independence, OH.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDatabase development, writing complex SQL queries in Azure Data Environments (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL MI, Azure Purview, Azure Data Factory)Develop and implement data collection strategies that optimize data quality and increase efficiency.Acquire data from various data sources, filter and clean the data and implement automation for the maintenance of data integrity.Identify, analyze, summarize, and interpret tends or patterns in complex data sets.Work closely with varied business and technical teams to develop mastery of the business domains.Ability to identify and document the business requirement and translate them intodata requirementsResearch, identify and implement new tools and methods to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline5+ years working as a Data AnalystExperience with Azure; Data Lake, SQL Managed Instance, Data Factory, PurviewExpert with SQL queries and writing highly complex queries to extract and analyze large data sets.COMPETENCIES
