The IT Manager, Digital Delivery will lead a cross-functional team responsible for designing, planning, building, and supporting a portfolio of global websites, applications, and mobile apps. This leader will be the technology owner of the applications, solutions, and digital capabilities centered around the domain of digital interconnected customer experience. The IT Manager, Digital Delivery will work on digital experiences for our customers around the globe. The incumbent will manage and/or coach cross functional product teams consisting of product owners, business analysts, and software engineers in many disciplines (development, QA, operations). This role will utilize a strong background with distributed cloud architecture, web-based programming, agile/SAFe delivery methods and knowledge of various IT disciplines. This position requires an individual who is passionate and determined to deliver the best leadership, communication, and solutions by aligning all the assets and resources available to deliver maximum business value. The IT Manager, Digital Delivery will possess the ability to make complex decisions, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and has the strong desire for excellence. Strategy and Planning Responsible to organize and steer the technical design, development, and successful launch of applications, features, and enhancements in a Business Unit aligned portfolio. Contribute to a unified IT strategy in the context of the business strategy. Generate technical roadmaps aligned to business strategies for the next 12 months. Majority of the focus will be in the 3-6 month window but must not lose sight of overall strategy and roadmap to maximize business value and customer impact. Provide coaching and leadership to the cross-functional team that report this role. Participate and engage in the discussion and negotiation for implementation contract services. This includes both software and services. Facilitate application governance process across the Enterprise Product Delivery department to gain consensus on a prioritized set of measurable business outcomes that applications must support. Provide leadership and direction to your team to ensure it will contribute to the company achieving its goals. Develop productive relationships with technical and busienss leaders across the organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value. Define and enhance methodologies and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement. Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers to that they deliver cost-effective solutions which meet the needs of the organization. Benchmark, analyze and make recommendation for improving current methods and practices. Suggest areas of improvement to address and resolve delivery issues. Ensure a detailed succession plan is in place for both individuals and skills to ensure sufficient staff depth is in place to meet the needs of the business. Embrace innovation and continuously improve your approach and your team. Set measures of success and maintain alignment with business and IT leadership expectations. Able to prepare and present solution recommendations and comprehensive status updates to IT leadership. Acquisition and Deployment Responsible for the day-to-day management of the application organization and is required to hold all application delivery teams accountable for optimizing the cost, risk, and value of applications throughout their life cycle. Responsible for the oversight of individual implementations, including staffing recommendations, individual roles and responsibilities, and timeliness of deliverables.
