Pump Truck Operator

General Purpose:

Responsible for operating concrete pump truck to place concrete on ICS, Inc. projects, and for other clients as scheduled.

Work Schedule:

Days and hours vary depending on the assigned project.

Responsibilities & DutiesPromote and comply with all Company and safety policies and proceduresOperate levers to raise, lower and rotate the boom and extend, retract, raise and lower outriggersRaise, lower and rotate boom by sight or according to signals from a helperEnsure safety procedures are adhered to at all timesPerform daily inspections of concrete pump truckMonitor weather conditions and site conditionsClean, maintain and lubricate equipmentObtain any required permitsPump truck operator should be responsible at all times when operating a concrete pump truckConcrete pump truck operator should be versatile and have a cooperative attitude as they may be asked to do other jobs on construction sites when they are not operating their pump truckMaintain a professional appearanceOther duties as assigned by SuperintendentRequired Education

High school diploma or equivalent GED.Required Experience

Experience RequiredRequired Skills/Licenses/Certifications

Valid commercial driver's license to operate class A motor vehicles.Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAdd and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's, ability to perform these operations using unit weight measurements and volumes.Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral formWorkers should be able to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standardsSupervisory Responsibility
