Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer and cloud networks. The role involves ensuring that network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and available to users while meeting organizational needs and industry standards. The position will be a key member of the IT team, working to design, maintain and expand a robust infrastructure that meets the needs of today and is scalable for the future. The position reports to the Senior Director of Information Technology and works closely with colleagues across all disciplines.

Designing and configuring network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.Maintain, manage, and administer our Azure SDWAN environment.Monitoring network performance and capacity, diagnosing and resolving system issues.Ensuring infrastructure resiliency, including redundancy, configuration backups, DR, and business continuityManaging network access control and security policies to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.Implementing network and server security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antimalware solutions.Design and build new network architecture in collaboration with security teams to meet security requirements and standards.Managing and troubleshooting network hardware and software, including modems, switches, routers, and other devices.Evaluating and recommending new hardware and software technologies to improve network performance and capabilities.Working with security team to design, build, manage, & troubleshoot Zscaler ZTNA integration with our networking environment.Working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment to identify future company growth and needs, recommend scalable solutions, and help formulate a technical roadmap for the company.Documenting system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain system integrity and support knowledge transfer.Providing escalated technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues related to network and providing guidance on best practices and policies.Collaborating with other IS teams and departments to ensure alignment of IT solutions with organizational objectives and standards.Managing projects within budget requirementsEnsuring network and server infrastructure meets compliance requirements, including SOX audits and GxP system qualification, validation, & risk assessments.Help team with other non-network projects, tasks, and troubleshooting as needed.Required Skills, Experience and Education:

8-10 years of relevant experience.Cisco CCIE Expert certificationExperience designing and building complex network environments.Expertise with Azure SD-WAN architecture.Experience with Zscaler ZTNA configurationsExpertise with Meraki firewall, switch, and WAP systems.Wide experience in managing and implementing network segmentation and access control across on-prem and cloud networks.Preferred Skills:

Azure Solutions Architect certificateZCP certificationProject management experience, preferably with tools such as Smartsheet and Asana.Experience with Linux and Windows systemsFamiliarity with the Life Sciences environmentManagement experience and building out a networking team

The base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000 to $187,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the minimum and maximum salary for the position in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
