We are seeking skilled and experienced Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operators to join our team for a full-time, day-shift position at ABB. The role involves operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials. Responsibilities:Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts, to move materials throughout the warehouse.Safely load and unload products from trucks or pallets.Ensure all material handling tasks are completed according to safety protocols and company standards.Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or repair needs.Assist in general warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and order picking.Maintain accurate records of materials moved or inventory handled.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:Valid forklift certification.Proven experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols.Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Education:High School
Experience:1-4 years
Qualifications:Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.Familiarity with inventory management software.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to operate additional types of PIT equipment (e.g., reach trucks, cherry pickers).
