VVG is looking for a Driver to join our team in Chandler, AZ for following hours: Monday-Friday between 7:00am-3:30pm!
What You'll Do:Driver picks up and delivers trucks for local large fleet customers to and from Los Angeles Freightliner for service and repairThey perform quality control test drives and complaint verification test drives.
Responsible for all quality/control test drivesDefines and carries out appropriate test drives to confirm compliance with quality standardsDocuments test resultsCompletes road tests performance sheetsPerforms complaint verification test drivesArranges lots as needed for better presentationFills service trucks with dieselCoordinates steam cleaning of trucksPerforms errands as needed (i.e. pick up parts from other locations)Drops off oil samples at CaterpillarMaintains record of all daily activities on daily logPerforms additional job related duties as neededCovers for lot porter as neededFollows Department of Transportation's safety standards
Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or the equivalentTwo (2) plus years driving experienceCurrent Commercial Driver License A or BMust have Department of Transportation medical card and medical releaseWilling to submit and pass Department of Transportation's random drug testingMust have knowledge and willing to comply with traffic laws
Compensation:Hourly $20-$25 depending on experience and qualificationsFull Time position
