School Based Occupational Therapist

Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required. Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (23/24) Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to work with students in the Yelm, Washington area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve their full potential through evidence-based interventions and collaborative problem-solving. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for occupational therapy services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve student outcomes in academic, social-emotional, and functional domains Collaborate with school staff and families to create positive and inclusive learning environments Provide consultation and education to teachers and other school personnel on strategies to support student success Monitor and track student progress and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy Washington State License in Occupational Therapy Experience working in a school setting Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for students with disabilities Ability to collaborate with a team and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues This is a full-time position for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year.
