Requirements:
2 years of experience in Mammography required with documentation of clinical experience, digital and 3D.Digital experience required3D experience requiredMust maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniqueCompletion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in RadiographyGraduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school.ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligibleCurrent on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
BLS
Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferredExperience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferredPrior quality control experience preferredAssociates degree preferredShift: 830a-500p- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.mThe Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.Mammography Skills / Procedures / Experience:Digital - Required3D - RequiredTwo years of experience in Mammography required with documentation of clinical experience, digital and 3D.Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred;Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;Prior quality control experience preferred;Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;Ability to stand for long periods of time
