Job Summary: Evaluates, selects, performs and/or directs assistance in educational, vocational and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients, upon physicians referral.Works with family and health team members regarding patients abilities and goals.Job Requirements
Must have necessary requisites for licensure as a Occupational Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health. Current CPR certification requiredExperience/Knowledge: Must have a current knowledge of occupational therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical and mental health concepts.Understands the principles of team approach and recognizes capabilities and limitations of other team members.Must possess a positive attitude and utilize good communication skills.Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
