Evaluates, selects, performs, and/or directs assistance in educational, vocational and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients upon physician’s referral.Works with family and health team members regarding patient’s abilities and goals.Job Requirements
Must have experience in pediatrics.Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.Must have a current knowledge of Occupational Therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical and mental health concepts.Understands the principles of team approach and recognizes capabilities and limitations of other team members.Must possess a positive attitude and utilize excellent communication skills.Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.Schedule Information
