THE ROLE: ART DIRECTOR
As the Art Director for Every Man Jack, you will play a pivotal role in the visual representation of our brand across all digital channels, including 360 campaigns, etail, web, and paid advertising. You will lead a team of creative designers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure creative meets needs of the business and ensures brand standards.
This role requires a mix of creative talent, leadership, digital marketing knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for design and an understanding of brand strategy, marketing trends, consumer behavior, and technical aspects of digital media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Vision and Brand Consistency: Harmonize the brand's visual identity across all platforms, ensuring all creative outputs consistently reflect the brand's tone, message, and objectives, while dynamically evolving the aesthetic to remain at the forefront of industry trends.360 Digital and Social First campaigns: Direct creation and execution of 360 campaigns in partnership with the Copywriter, ensuring consistent and compelling narrative and visual communication across channels from digital to in-store.Etail Channels Management: Manage and unify the brand's visual presence across etail channels like Amazon, Walmart, and Target, ensuring attractive product listings, brand consistency, and collaboration with the etail team.Paid Advertising Campaigns: Spearhead creative development of digital advertising campaigns, collaborating with the Performance team to craft compelling ad creatives with high conversion potential.Web and Digital Presence: Direct and enhance the company's website design and user experience, collaborating with the web development team to ensure an attractive, user-friendly interface that adheres to best practices.Team Leadership and Collaboration: Champion and nurture a team of creative professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and growth, while providing leadership, feedback, and development.THE CANDIDATE:
Candidates must be creative, having a distinct creative vision that can pair with our distinctive brand equity. This person is highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally. Additionally, this candidate has a remarkable ability to remain calm and flexible in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high growth collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be an intelligent team player - someone approachable with a positive, innovative, and professional attitude who works smarter, not harder, and takes on a "sleeves-rolled-up" and a "can-do" attitude when faced with challenges. A true ambassador for EMJ, both internally and externally.
CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED:
Successful manager with 7-10 years in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.Proven experience as an Art Director, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of workExpert level in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Knowledge of CPG industry trends and consumer behaviorExcellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.Bachelor's degree in related field.
LOCATION: Mill Valley, CA (Hybrid: Mon/Tues/Thurs in Office, Wed/Fri Remote)
HOURS: Full Time, Exempt, Salaried
