Essential Functions Statement(s)•Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.•Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to be able to look in the direction oftravel on a continual basis.•Operates a lift truck all shift.•Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliaryequipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs tosupervisor/maintenance.•Moves controls to drive lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading,processing, and storage areas.•Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams andswivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.•Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and securematerial or products for transport to designated areas.•Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.•Reliable attendance for scheduled shifts.•Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.•Performs all other duties as assigned or neededMaterial Handler Functional CategoriesFunction categories often describe certain Material Handler positions; however, all materialhandlers will be expected to learn and have proficiency in each function category.Receiving -•Unloads products from tractor-trailers and rail containers (manually and with equipment).•Verifies product received is identified and counted accurately.•Inspects condition of received product, remove damaged or non-conforming products.Process defective product as per standard operating procedure.•Scans pallet barcode using RF equipment.•Moves and places product safely and securely in its proper storage location using heavyequipment.Stager/Order Picker -•Receives and evaluates printed order for order selection and preparation requirements.•Fills orders by accurately picking product from storage areas utilizing pre-determinedproduct stacking guidelines.•Uses scanning device and computer as needed to ensure order accuracy.•Corrects shortages, over-counts and incorrect batch codes as needed.Truck Loaders -•Moves products from staging areas and/or directly from storage into trailer.•Inspects trucks for quality and sanitary requirements.•Verifies markings, trailer numbers, and shipping documents.•Fills truck using designated loading patterns and guidelines.•Properly secures the load for travel.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

•Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.•Experience: One (1) to two (2)s year related experience in warehouse environment.•Computer Skills: Basic scanner technology.•Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Driver's License; Forklift Certification preferred.
