Precise Systems is seeking a Business Development (BD) Capture Specialist to work as part of our BD team, capturing qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities :
Provide detailed market intelligence and analysis for specific federal departments and agencies
Conduct in-depth research on federal government contracting opportunities utilizing GSA eBuy, Sam.gov, Deltek GovWin, Agency-specific procurement forecasts and websites, FPDS, and other common research tools
Conduct opportunity analysis, developing assessments based on:
Solicitation Size, Scope, and Complexity
Alignment to core competencies
Past Performances and Corporate Experience based on solicitation needs and program goals
Research and analyze historical company data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information to support proposal efforts.
Support the content development in response to RFIs and Sources Sought
Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses to develop business intelligence on strategies to win
Stay abreast of government procurement trends, policies, and regulations relevant to our industry
Develop, organize, and execute capture activities, including assessing win probability, developing win plans/strategies, addressing gap analysis, etc in order to respond to and win business with new customers
Manage and analyze corporate opportunity pipeline in Next Stage CRM
Manage CRM configuration and back-end administration of the system such as advanced troubleshooting as issues arise
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 4+ years related work experience
Basic understanding or the ability to learn federal government procurement processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Skilled at performing in-depth research, analysis, and data summarization
Curious and driven to investigate and increase understanding of specific organization, domain, activity, opportunity pursuit, etc.
Ability to take direction and work collaboratively and independently to accomplish work assignments.
Candidates should be proximally located to our Pax River, MD or Reston, VA office locations

Required Skills
Bachelors or minimum 2 years equivalent relevant work experience.

Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.
