Director of Business Development . The candidate must have a successful track record in the capture, production of proposals, and delivery of solutions, services, and products focused on cybersecurity and Enterprise IT for U.S. Government customers. BS/BA with at least 5 years of experience in business development, capture, and proposal development.Demonstrated success selling services to U.S. government customers in a similar role.Experience and success leading customer engagements and strategic pursuits, including identifying and accessing potential customers.Dynamic, success-driven, entrepreneurial self-starter with collaboration skills and the drive to win work and grow a medium-sized business.Strong understanding of complex federal government requirements and procurement.Demonstrated ability to successfully identify and qualify prospective teaming partners.Ability to capture business successfully from new and vetted customers for both full and open and small business opportunities.Team-player with the ability to motivate others to support the capture of new opportunities.Experience working collaboratively with our business development team, including proposal manager, editor, writers, subject matter experts, pricers, etc.Ability to make timely and effective decisions in assessing business opportunities.Proven ability to build and grow revenue in accounts.Effective communication skills and leadership qualities, capable of influencing and convincing others to follow their lead and ideas.Experience providing insight and contributing to writing winning proposals and responses to federal Task Orders, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and Sources Sought.Knowledge of information technology trends and their application to the federal government.Experience managing, drafting, and preparing bids and proposals.Ability to identify company past performance and past performance of subcontractors to maximize award potential.Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).Understanding of federal procurement business platforms, e.g., GovWin, GSA eBUY, SAM.gov, etc.Strong organizational, problem-solving, listening, and interpersonal skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including writing proposals.Ability to work effectively and perform multiple tasks under pressure.Proactive in collaborating with internal stakeholders and building support.Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.Ability to complete assignments correctly, independently, and in a timely manner.Position reports to the VP level and above. Candidate must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.The position is fully remote, with possible travel. Applicants must be able to attend meetings scheduled on Eastern time (EST) starting at 0800.
