Azure DevOps EngineerThis is a HYBRID position starting DAY ONE. Any exceptions like Initial remote are NOT available.We are seeking Azure DevOps Engineer in Dallas, TX. This position will be responsible for creating and implementing a CI/CD pipeline in Microsoft Azure for our existing software development practices. Looking for extensive experience in Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Services, and Azure Cloud in the capacity of DevOps engineer doing builds and deployments.ResponsibilitiesImplement, monitor, and manage end-to-end DevOps with industry leading platforms, standards, and practicesDesign and implement processes that support continuous integration and continuous deploymentEnsure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutionsMaintain, improve, and optimize our software development processesMaintain and govern software development quality standardsEstablish and execute automated build and automated testing proceduresProduce detailed timelines for each application release and implement effective project control by monitoring the progress of the software releaseDrive on-time delivery along with high-quality standardsDesign and architect scalable, distributed web applications, web/windows services, and cloud-based applicationsSupport and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, restores of different environments, and product and infrastructure issues in production environmentsContinually research and seek out more effective processes to improvements to the company SDLCRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, or related technical fields with at least two years of cloud design experienceMinimum of 5+ years' experience in systems engineering in a corporate / enterprise IT environmentMinimum of 5+ years' of experience designing, executing, managing, and supporting IT cloud solutionsMinimum of 3+ years of experience w/ Microsoft Azure.Expert in Azure DevOPs and Azure Kubernetes Services(AKS) and proficient in Azure AppService.Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/TFS/VSTS.Proficient in Terraform or similar infrastructure automation tools.Experience with cloud services; including open source technology, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, hybrid (on- and off-premises) and multiple cloud provider environments, integration services, logic apps, advanced cloud security, and compute and storage servicesExperience with developing, managing, or using DevSecOps environmentsKnow several software tools and platforms, such as SQL, Kubernetes (preferably AKS), Spark, Hadoop, Scala, Kafka, Redshift, Docker, and LinuxExperience doing on- and off- premises cloud migrationsExperience working with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), & Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based environmentsExperience with programming languages such as .net, PHP, Python, Java, Java Script, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or similarA self-starter, detail oriented, responsible team player able to administer several ongoing technical assignments at any one time; where some assignments are routinely unstructured, requiring autonomy, problem solving, and independent judgmentAbility to clearly articulate a position (written or verbal) with sound logic, supporting empirical evidence, and impartialityAbility to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
