We're seeking a dedicated professional focused on delivering exceptional Global Safety & Security Technology Platforms. You will manage operating system engineering, software deployment, and risk and vulnerability management for systems running the Windows Client Operating System. A strong technical background in Windows technologies and effective communication skills are essential for success.
Daily responsibilities include providing first-line support for end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, or peripheral issues. You will collaborate with peers to ensure exceptional service delivery and analyze data to anticipate future needs. Proactive engagement with technical experts and strategic partners will help identify competitive solutions. Understanding the importance of documentation in technology delivery will be crucial, and you will often serve as the primary contact between service integrators and business users.
You will collaborate with a team of approximately eight engineers sharing cross-functional responsibilities. The focus will be on Physical Safety & Security products and services across various regions, while fostering relationships internally and representing safety and security initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree or relevant combination of education and experience5+ years of Information Technology experience with Windows platforms3+ years of server administration experience (MCSE, MCP, etc.)3+ years' experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu)Proficiency with Windows 10 and application compatibility3+ years in desktop supportStrong understanding of configuration management on WindowsHands-on experience in troubleshooting and operational supportKnowledge of Active Directory, including group policy managementExperience with patch management and client-side GPO troubleshootingPassion for troubleshooting and root-cause analysisExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDESIRED SKILLS (but not required) :
PowerShell scripting experienceMicrosoft CertificationsExperience in Agile delivery and Program Increment (PI) Planning
