WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Director of HRIS is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of our HR technology systems, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic goals and operational needs. This role will play a critical part in optimizing our HR processes, ensuring data integrity, and leveraging technology to support our strategic HR goals.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

HRIS Management:

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS, with a focus on Workday systems.

Oversee the integration of HRIS with other business systems and applications.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the HR technology strategy.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance HR operations.

System Administration:

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data within the Workday system.

Manage system upgrades, configurations, and customizations to meet business requirements.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Project Management:

Lead HRIS projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and data flow.

User Support and Training:

Provide ongoing support and training to HR staff and end-users on Workday systems.

Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and documentation.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

Develop and generate HR reports and dashboards to support decision-making.

Analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

Compliance and Security:

Ensure HRIS compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.

Implement and maintain security protocols to protect HR data.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Workday Certification, PMP) is a plus.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in HRIS management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Extensive working knowledge of Workday systems, including implementation, configuration, and administration.

Strong project management skills with experience leading HRIS projects.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

21 years of age.

PREFERRED

Previous related experience preferred.

Workday certified.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.

Must regularly lift and/move up to 10 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Able to work in an environment with fumes and airborne particles.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
