Job DescriptionJob Purpose (Job Summary):

The Analyst will begin their career through exposure to all business lines and multiple asset classes where they will have the opportunity to work on deals and transactions alongside incredibly talented professionals that are driving the success of IRE’s business, client relationships, and industry footprint. Analysts will receive hands-on exposure and training to all facets of the business, in addition to developing professional skills and networking across the organization as well as the industry. This role will prepare Analysts to join any business line within IRE and support future career growth. Analyst should be flexible in placement within Dallas, New York City, San Francisco, or Newport Beach office for a two-year program. This is a two-year position in IRE’s analyst program focusing on the ownership and operation of the Invesco Real Estate portfolio. The analyst will be integrally involved in every stage of ownership including financial, tenant, lease and credit analysis, reporting, market research, valuation analysis and disposition analysis. The analyst will possess strong analytical skills, a basic understanding of real estate finance and terminology.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Responsible for analytical and technical tasks on a wide variety of assignments, including historical trend analysis, cash flow and investment modeling, risk analysis, property valuation, market analysis, and borrower and tenant credit analysis.

Analyze operating statements and rent rolls for various property types, identifying variances and potential areas of risk associated with the property.

Research and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data through use of utilized systems (CoStar, CreditNtell, Yardi, etc.).

Communicate and develop recommendations for 3rd party providers and clients.

Attend internal and external calls and meetings; travel to various markets/locations

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

Strong analytical/quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in common Adobe and Microsoft Applications (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Argus Certificate preferred, but not required.

Formal Education:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

Some prior related work experience preferred but not required.
