These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.Job DescriptionThe Senior Contracts Administrator, under guidance from the Contracts Director, will be responsible for structuring contractual documents that establish business relationships with customers and/or partners. The Contracts Administrator will review, draft, and negotiate documents necessary to protect the company’s contractual posture with adherence to company policies and applicable laws and regulations; manage review, coordination, and submission of RFP/RFQ’s; perform general contract administration responsibilities; negotiate and provide interpretation of terms and conditions of sale; support Order Administration with purchase order review, including training; advise management of contractual rights and obligations; and consult with other departments as needed to ensure the company has preserved its rights while limiting its liabilities.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare and review various business agreements, documentation, correspondence, forms, and reports which may be required to support business development activities, solicitations, contract awards, and related activities.Manage the preparation of non-standard or complex business proposals.Ensure contractual documents adhere to company policies, procedures, agreed upon specifications and requirements, applicable laws and regulations, and conformance to master agreements.Identify and mitigate risks connected with non-standard conditions and other party changes in proposed contractual documents.Negotiate and redline nonstandard terms and conditions of sale in accordance with Corporate policies.Work with Business Development, Product Management, Finance, Manufacturing, and other departments to provide timely responses to internal requests for Product Supply Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Distributor Agreements, RFQ/RFPs, and other contractual documents.Respond to customer requests promptly and professionally; develop and maintain positive customer relationships, both internally and externally.Develop, enter, maintain, and update contracts in Company databases.Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business or related education and experience.5+ years’ experience in Contract Administration or related fields in the high-technology, government, aerospace, commercial and/or international industries.Strong organizational skills and ability to review and manage high volume of contract files, correspondence, and maintain information in electronic databases.Must be able to communicate orally and in writing using the English language.Must have ability to negotiate to favor the Company’s position.Time management skills with ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize.Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong knowledge of basic contract law, standard legal forms, and familiarity or experience with FAR’s/DFAR’s.Other Qualifications:Proficient Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and database management.Conga Database experience preferred, but not required.Familiarity with basic contract law and standard legal forms.Some limited travel may be required to support business development, internal meetings, and contracting activities.Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.Salary Range:$112,200.00-$150,260.00Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
