Overview:The Vice President (VP) of Marketing is a crucial role at Anne Arundel Dermatology (AAD), driving the organization’s marketing strategy and execution with a data-driven mindset. At AAD, we give exceptional care—to our patients and to each other—and the VP of Marketing will embody this value by fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the marketing team. As part of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, the VP will be responsible for developing a marketing strategy that reflects AAD’s commitment to exceptional care, overseeing key initiatives, and leading the marketing team to ensure growth and success. The success of marketing will primarily be measured by how many patients are driven to AAD’s services and products.

Responsibilities:
Lead and influence marketing strategy across the organization
Key member of the executive leadership team with oversight of all marketing efforts and budget
Develop and manage the marketing budget
Create, manage, and coordinate all marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive patients to AAD products and services
Prepare and present regular reports on marketing strategies, tactics and results to executive leadership team
Drive patients to AAD products and services
Develop long-term “always on” strategies and implement to get a consistent baseline of patient growth
Develop robust digital marketing campaign strategies for each location that can be quickly scaled up and down to support patient growth
Determine, implement and regularly review metrics throughout the marketing acquisition funnel to measure success, efficiency and effectiveness of all campaigns
Collaborate and coordinate with Operations and other AAD teams
Partner with Regional Directors of Business Operations (RDBO’s) on marketing strategies and keep them informed on performance
Partner with Practice Managers and providers on execution of key marketing strategies
Work with the data and finance team to help inform tracking and measurement of marketing success
Develop a best-in-class marketing team
Cultivate and foster an environment of data-driven high performance
Develop robust and data-driven reports on full-funnel performance to optimize performance at every stage
Develop a marketing team structure that best supports AAD marketing strategy
Coach teammates and hold them accountable to targets and performance
Empower team to think creatively and share ideas on growing patients
Qualifications:
Proven ability to make strategic decisions and drive results
Strong leadership and management skills
Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing teams
Thorough understanding of Marketing strategies and practices.
Excellent communications skills, time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated competency and track record of success in the following areas:
Multi-channel strategy (e.g. digital, traditional media, referral, etc.)
Website strategy and management
Digital marketing tools (SEO, Google Ads, CRM’s, Email, etc.)
Brand marketing and strategy
Marketing analytics and performance measurement
Licensure/Certifications/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or similar related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Five years of experience in high level Marketing required.
Five years of experience in a leadership role
Prior experience in the healthcare or dermatology industry is highly desired.
