As a Regional Sales Director (RSD), you will be responsible for leading sales efforts primarily through net flows, conducting sales opportunity analysis, driving advisor targeting and engagement, directing product SMEs, and directing internal and external wholesaling activities. The position is a key strategic partner for field leaders, advisors, wholesalers and product partners in the region.

This position can be remote but must be located in the Minneapolis area only.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive advisor net flows through virtual interactions with advisors. Ensure that key messaging is conveyed through defined visits and advisor meetings. The RSD is responsible for execution of region plan, advisor support, and field leader support.Partner with key support and resources including corporate communications, WMS, RiverSource, Columbia Threadneedle Investments third party wholesalers and other critical groups. Translate national call message, make connections to regional needs/priorities, partner effectively with field leaders, advisors and field staff.Engage Experienced Advisor Recruits (EAR) and field leaders in financial advice through Confident Retirement conversations and client case analysis. Engage virtually in client/advisor meetings where appropriate.Required QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent experience7+ years of relevant work experienceFINRA Series 7 (or willing to obtain within 90 days)State securities (S63 or S66) (or willing to obtain within 90 days)State IAR (S65 or S66) (or willing to obtain within 90 days)Ability to travel (25%)Preferred QualificationsExperience participating in client meetings supporting/facilitating the discussion and client case analysisAnalysis - ability to review, analyze, gather data. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location.
