Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Location: Houston, Texas Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services, assist with treatment plans, and support patients in improving their communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Implement speech therapy programs as directed by the supervising SLP. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of therapy materials. Document patient progress and report findings to the SLP. Support patients in improving articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills. Collaborate with other professionals and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications: Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. State licensure/certification as an SLPA. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with pediatric or adult populations is preferred.
