Job Posting: SLPA Specialist in Houston, TX Location: Houston, TX Discipline: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Dates: 8/1/2024 - 6/5/2025 Caseload/Details: We are seeking 5 dedicated SLPAs to join our team and support various campuses in the south and southeast regions of Houston. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on students' communication skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Number of Positions: 5 Work Type: Onsite only Job Responsibilities: Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the evaluation, treatment, and management of students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Implement treatment plans and activities as directed by the supervising SLP. Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives. Qualifications: Valid SLPA license in the state of Texas. Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent. Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
