Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Employer: Soliant Employment Type: Full-time Soliant is currently in search of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district near Sycamore, IL. We are actively conducting interviews and hiring for the ongoing school year. Responsibilities: - Perform thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. - Deliver therapy services to students with a variety of conditions, including articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, stuttering, voice disorders, and swallowing difficulties. - Implement evidence-based practices and innovative techniques to enhance communication skills and improve the quality of life for students. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. - Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology. Qualifications: - Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. - Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or be eligible for clinical fellowship. - Have state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and develop effective treatment plans. - Display empathy and patience when working with individuals of various ages and abilities.
