The Student Services - Business Systems Analyst, under the guidance and support of the Deans of Enrollment and Student Life is responsible for providing technological and project management support to the GCC Student Affairs Division. This position manages and oversees the implementation of major GCC technology programs and projects that may call for some guidance and assistance to others. This position will work in collaboration with the enrollment and student life teams to support enrollment and retention efforts for the college. The primary essential functions include; technology support, project management and SEM (Strategic Enrollment Management) support to the Deans and their SA (Student Affairs) Directors and Managers. In addition, this position will work collaboratively with the Institutional Research office on projects that involve research and compliance for the SA Division. This position will provide accurate and relevant data and provide information that aligns with student affairs strategic direction in a timely and effective manner. May lead small-to-medium, projects or studies also be a part of the responsibilities for this position. Provides professional level staff support to committees, advisory groups and others that may include performing research, authoring documents and making presentations; facilitates team meetings. Essential Functions

- Provides guidance and management of all software accounts used by Student Affairs at GCC. In particular the management, security and procurement of those technologies. Examples include SIS, Conex Ed, Assist, Simplicity, HubSpot, 4DX,Tableu and any technologies used to support Student Affairs

- Provides guidance and project management support to the SA Deans, Directors and Managers in Student Affairs. In particular, enrollment services and student life. Examples include Strategic Planning, Auto confer, Basic Needs, Recruitment, Embedded Advisors, Guided Pathways

- Provides support to the local GCC Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) committee in collaboration with the Dean of Enrollment Services. Troubleshoots recruitment pipeline of new students and continuing student retention model

- Provides support to the SA Directors in Managers in all data research and inquiry. Provides support to the compliance responsibilities and audits in student affairs including but not limited to the following areas; Financial Aid, Veterans, Athletics Eligibility and conduct. Provides leadership and support in the area of assessment for Student Affairs departments, including co-curricular assessment 10%

- Provides support in leading small-to-medium, projects or studies. Provides professional level staff support to committees, advisory groups and facilitates team meetings Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology or related field and two (2) years of business systems analysis experience including business process design, business requirements definition, workflow documentation and acceptance testing. (Reference Position Specific Responsibilities above to determine experience in area of assignment).ORAn equivalent combination of the conferred degree, education, certification and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired QualificationsMaster's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Information Technology, or another related fieldThree (3) years' experience implementing various technology solutions and soft-waresThree (3) years' experience with project management or program management principles and practicesThree (3) years' experience analyzing complex data and providing recommendations to improve processes and operationsThree (3) years' experience in providing guidance or support to small-to-medium, projects or studies focused on research, compliance, strategic enrollment management or technology
