This position offers flexibility with a hybrid model3 days onsite and 2 days remoteallowing you to balance your professional and personal life while making a meaningful impact on students mental health and academic success. About the Role: As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the psychological well-being of students. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations Developing and implementing intervention strategies Providing individual and group counseling to students Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student needs Assisting in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Providing crisis intervention and support Qualifications: To work as a School Psychologist in South Carolina, you must meet the following requirements: Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution. Licensure: Hold a valid South Carolina School Psychologist license issued by the South Carolina Department of Education, including passing the Praxis School Psychologist exam. Certification: Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is preferred but not mandatory. Experience: Experience in a school setting preferred; familiarity with state and federal special education laws. Skills: Strong assessment and intervention skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
