Qualifications:
- Registered OT with a degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas.
- Familiarity with pediatric assessment tools for evaluating infants and children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric clients.
- Evaluate and monitor children's progress in areas such as gross/fine motor skills, perceptual, and self-help development.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
- Supervision of assistants and techs.
Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years of experience necessary
- Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience using pediatric assessment tools.
- Ability to lift and transfer children (minimum of 25 lbs.).
- Participate in floor activities with children.
- Pediatric experience required.
- Experience with sensory integration techniques and primitive reflex integration are required.
- Experience with feeding therapy and yoga are a plus.
