This is a part-time building to full-time position with opportunities to advance. Pay rate is based on experience and bonuses given for productivity. We treat children from birth to 18 years old with conditions such as: Sensory Processing Disorder Autism & Asperger’s ADD/ADHD Cerebral Palsy Down Syndrome Developmental Delays Physical Disabilities Congenital Disorders Learning Disabilities Qualifications: Registered OT with a degree from an accredited occupational therapy program. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas. Familiarity with pediatric assessment tools for evaluating infants and children. Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric clients. Evaluate and monitor children's progress in areas such as gross/fine motor skills, perceptual, and self-help development. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports. Supervision of assistants and techs. Requirements: 3 – 5 years of experience necessary Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program. Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure. Experience using pediatric assessment tools. Ability to lift and transfer children (minimum of 25 lbs.). Participate in floor activities with children. Pediatric experience required. Experience with sensory integration techniques and primitive reflex integration are required. Experience with feeding therapy and yoga are a plus.
