The Business Domain Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement data management strategies that support the organization’s goals. The Business Domain Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, consistency, and availability across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business processes and data flows within the financial domain.
  • Identify data quality issues and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain data management frameworks, standards, and policies.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and IT to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide updates on data management initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance strategies and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with data management regulations and standards.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on data management effectiveness.
  • Lead and participate in data management projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of data solutions.
  • Utilize data management tools and software to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and database management.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management and financial analytics.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Data Management Professional (CDMP), or similar are a plus.
  • Proven experience in data management, data governance, and data quality initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, SSIS and Python ).
  • Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
