This is a hybrid position with the expectation to be in the office two days a week. This position is intended for someone who would like to emerge into a future group leader who will oversee staff. Role accountabilities:Leading and developing project architectural designs for various governmental agencies with a wide range in project size. Candidate must be able to mutli-task between projects and lead the design and detailing of projects. Proficient in revit to develop conceptual designs and review model and construction document progress is cloud environments.Responsible for budgeting and management of project's coordination with PM, Client and other disciplines. Visiting client sites and attending meetings at client locations throughout the US.Assist / lead junior staff through the design process from conceptual design through design development and in construction document development. Manage business relationships at the senior management levelAbility to manage multiple projects that are multi-faceted, complex size/scopeParticipate in the development of project design concepts and criteriaAct as a staff specialist in providing technical guidance for complex or unique assignmentsQualifications & Experience:Registered ArchitectBachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant disciplineMore than 10 years’ relevant experience, including leadership in the development and implementation of architectural and design solution National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certification Marketing and proposal experienceExpert knowledge of regulatory requirementsProficient working with CAD (Revit, etc..) software to develop design concepts, presentations, and detailing of design projectsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant disciplineSustainability Certification - LEED, Green Globe, or equivalentSkills Preferred: o Experience with NYC LPC and Design Commission o Experience with NYC Department of Buildings and Construction Codes o US Army Corp of Engineer project experienceWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000.
