We truly want you to come to work as your whole self. As a flexible-first organization, this role requires the Product Designer to be onsite at the office two-three days a week.

What you’d be doing in this role

As the Product Designer at Nextpoint, you will be at the heart of our user experience, understanding both our business needs and technical challenges while always keeping the user’s journey front and center. You’ll lead user research, interviews, and surveys, turning insights into sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Reporting to the Senior Product Designer, you will work cross-functionally with the product management, engineering and marketing teams to understand client needs. Beyond just designing, you’ll shape product functionality and continuously improve the experience based on user testing. If you’re passionate about crafting intuitive and impactful designs, this is the role for you.

You are curious and creative, you’re naturally empathetic and skilled at putting yourself in the shoes of users, understanding their needs and translating them into seamless designs, overall you’re a thoughtful innovative designer who’s passionate about user-centered products and continuous improvement.

The impact you’ll make:

Collaborate Closely with Cross-Functional Teams:

You’ll collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to get to the core of customer problems and uncover opportunities. You’ll shape the big-picture UX vision while also working on quick releases that bring real value to our users.

Clearly Communicate Your Design Thinking:

You’ll be able to explain your design processes, ideas, and solutions in a clear, straightforward way, making sure teams, stakeholders, and clients are aligned and on board.

Take a Systems Approach to Design:

You’ll contribute to our Design System, using a "platform-first" approach to ensure that everything we design is scalable, consistent, and user-friendly across all our products.

Advocate for Great UX:

You’ll be the voice of the user, inspiring your team with your vision of what’s possible and always pushing for exceptional UX that delights our users.

Make Design Understandable for Everyone:

You’ll map out user personas, workflows, and prototypes, and communicate design decisions in a way that’s easy for non-designers to understand and be part of.

Focus on User-Centered Design:

You’ll use user-centered design (UCD) principles to run research, A/B tests, and usability studies, making sure we’re building products that are easy to use and accessible for all.

Create Seamless User Experiences:

You’ll turn ideas into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to simple, intuitive user experiences that meet customer needs and business goals.

Your expertise

2-3 years of experience in Product Design have given you a solid foundation in creating thoughtful, user-centered designs.

Whether you’ve earned a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or built up equivalent experience, you have the knowledge to thrive in this role.

You’ve worked with enterprise B2B systems and SaaS products, so you understand the complexities of these environments and how to design solutions that meet user needs.

Figma and Design Systems are second nature to you—you’re comfortable using them to create scalable and consistent designs across multiple platforms.

If you have basic skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, or React, that’s a big plus—it’ll give you an edge when collaborating with developers.

You know how to juggle multiple projects and milestones, keeping everything on track without compromising on quality.

Designing compelling, intuitive user interfaces is something you’re passionate about, and you’ve got the portfolio to back it up.

You’re a strong communicator, whether it’s writing an email, discussing ideas with stakeholders, or presenting your designs to clients—you can clearly articulate your thoughts and processes.

You stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX, and you’re always thinking about how to push boundaries and improve the user experience.

You’re comfortable with some travel when needed—whether it’s to attend key events at the office or visit clients on-site to get a better understanding of their needs.

You’re legally authorized to work in the United States.
