Job Function

Reporting into the VP Finance, Performance Coatings, the Pricing Analyst will be based out of Houston, TX or Mayfield Heights, OH and will be responsible for commercial support including price analysis, product pricing, price maintenance, rebate, and rebate management. This person will work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Customer Service to identify pricing opportunities, develop pricing segmentation for the business, maintain and ensure accuracy of product pricing and support the business with pricing proposals.

Responsibilities

Work closely with commercial team to identify pricing opportunities, track execution, and provide appropriate metrics.Work with customer service to manage price record card updates timely.Ensure proper billing of surcharges.Partnering with PC leadership and AmSec, develop segmented price ranges by product group. This includes identifying outliers to drive improvement.Detailed pricing to include entry, maintenance, and creation of price quotationsJustification/research supporting price changesMaintaining rebate structuresSupport Product Management Team by creating reports, data mining and working with the data warehouseAbility to efficiently prioritize and meet project deadlinesEnsuring accuracy of initial price entry by having strong attention to detailEfficient price quote turnaround with a sense of urgencyOther duties as assignedRequired Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field2+ years of experience in Operations, Finance, Pricing or SalesMS Office - Competent and efficient use of Microsoft Suite of SoftwareSelf-motivated and with a strong initiative to develop the knowledge and skills to take on additional responsibilitiesPreferred Experience

Industry experience (Paint and Coatings, Thermoset Composites, Raw Material suppliers)SAP - high comfort level with ability to learn new transactions or similar ERP systemBenefits
