High School Diploma or GEDAt least 6 months of manufacturing and forklift experience within the last 3 yearsExperience with clamp or reach trucks is a plusIntermediate computer skillsDemonstrated stable work historyBasic math skillsAbility to lift 55 to 65 pounds repetitivelyWillingness to work overtime and weekends as neededAvailability for 12-hour rotating shifts, changing every two weeks:7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMWhat You'll Do As A Forklift Operator:
Monitor the status of the postsConduct daily inspections of forkliftsVerify pallets using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)Pick and store verified pallets in the warehouseSupply and remove empty and partial palletsSupply poles and remove defective pallets of poles to designated areasComplete off-loading and loading of polesChange forklift batteries on loader forklifts as neededConsolidate pallets from one location to anotherPrint and update relocation reports throughout the shiftManage bin inventory to ensure over 30 bins are continuously available for pallet storageMaintain an organized and clean work areaPerform other assigned duties as needed
