Position Overview:
The Desktop Support Analyst II provides advanced IT support, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues. This role includes leading system installations, managing network security, and providing mentorship to junior IT staff. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring system configurations are maintained and that IT operations run smoothly, particularly within the healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide Tier II/III technical support for end-users, addressing more advanced hardware, software, and network issues.Oversee system configurations, installations, and updates for IT systems, including healthcare-specific software.Monitor system performance, handle troubleshooting, and escalate issues as needed.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations by maintaining network security and conducting security audits.Train users and junior staff on data security best practices.Document complex troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and solutions in the IT knowledge base.Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts by evaluating new technologies and streamlining IT processes.Required Qualifications :
Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 2 years of IT support experience; healthcare IT experience preferred.Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 (Intune/Azure), network configurations, and healthcare software.Advanced knowledge of Cisco Meraki switches and firewalls.Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or Network+ are a plus.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical users.Benefits :
