Job Description
Report directly and provide administrative assistance to designated Sales Manager. Maintain group bookings by providing customer support and executing customer requests.
Sales Coordinators are subject to perform the following duties on a DAILY basis and is not limited to the following:Assist designated Sales ManagersWork an eight (8) hour shift with one (1) hour breakProcess rooming lists and assist guests with changesProcess deposits and paymentsSchedule Trace Report Meeting(s) with designated Sales Manager(s)Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls to the appropriate staff or take detailed and accurate messages in their absenceCheck office voicemail and distribute telephone messagesDistribute incoming Sales Department facsimiles and emailsType correspondence, contracts and memosDeliver and pick up Sales Department's mail/correspondence twice per day or as neededSecure payment information on all working files by follow all PCI compliance proceduresOther Duties as assignedQualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.Experience in a similar position preferredStrong written and oral communication skillsDisplay strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesMust be detail orientedKnowledge of hotel/casino environment is strongly preferredObtain/maintain all necessary licenses and/or certificationsBe able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.Knowledge of MS Office
