Job Overview: We are looking for a
Desktop Support/Workstation Engineer
responsible for the support, installation, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop computers. The role involves setting up and maintaining network and telecommunications systems, troubleshooting LAN, server, and connectivity issues, and utilizing a ticketing system when necessary. The candidate will perform data migrations, restorations, and remote problem-solving as required. Key Responsibilities: Provide hardware and software support for desktop and laptop computers Install and deploy Windows and Apple-based computers Set up and maintain network and telecommunications systems Troubleshoot LAN, server, and connectivity issues Utilize ticketing system for incident tracking Re-image computers and perform data migrations and restorations Conduct remote problem-solving when required Train end-users on technology usage Skills & Qualifications: Working knowledge of hardware components and configurations Strong software experience, particularly in deploying Windows and Apple computers Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and vendors Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Strong organizational skills and oral communication abilities Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to train end-users on technical systems Additional Information: Location:
