We are looking for a Vice President of IT Strategy, Planning, and Governance who is passionate about leveraging technology as a catalyst for business transformation. As the VP of IT Strategy, you will take the helm of a talented team comprising Business Relationship Managers, IT Business Operations experts, and Project Managers. You will partner with diverse leaders across all business segments and external service providers to revolutionize our IT organization. Your leadership will be crucial in crafting and implementing adaptive governance frameworks, establishing robust IT roadmaps, enhancing demand planning processes, and standardizing portfolio/project management practices that ensure success and accountability.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you will have the authority to shape our strategic vision and optimize our IT investments, ensuring we not only keep pace with the demands of our customers but exceed them.

Oversee the development and management of the department's budget, ensuring operational efficiency while maximizing impact.

Things You’ll Do

Lead the development and maintenance of portfolio and project management methodologies that are aligned with our strategic objectives, driving effective execution of initiatives.

Establish essential decision-making practices that prioritize demand, allocate resources, and assess capacity, significantly minimizing delivery challenges while increasing resource utilization.

Create and monitor leadership dashboards that provide real-time visibility into project progress, costs, and risks, enabling informed decision-making executive insights.

Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope by monitoring timelines, budgets, and resource allocations with precision.

Assess the health of the IT department by regularly reporting key performance indicators and operational metrics, driving accountability and operational excellence.

Spearhead the Consolidated IT Business Planning annual cycle, collaborating closely with enterprise partners and fellow IT leaders to align initiatives with growth objectives.

Set the strategic direction for information and technology within the Enterprise, ensuring alignment with our mission to transform customer and employee experiences.

Focus on prioritizing resource allocation across the portfolio to maximize return on investment and drive organizational success.

Guarantee that all delivered initiatives meet their targeted business outcomes and create lasting value for the organization.

What We Are Looking For on Your Resume

A minimum of 15 years of experience delivering IT initiatives across diverse domains (e.g., infrastructure, data, systems).

Proven leadership in building a functional IT PMO (Project Management Office), with expertise in project portfolio and project management methodologies.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation at an executive level.

A track record of effectively driving business, cultural, and technological change in dynamic, complex environments.

Strong business partnership abilities and experience collaborating with senior executive teams to realize strategic objectives.
