Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to develop, track, evaluate, manage, and share a contagious vision with the Project Management Team that aligns with the organizational goals of Triton Technical. This role will be involved in all aspects of Project Management operations, including staff appropriation, overseeing project budgets, defining goals and objectives, reporting using pre-defined metrics, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring clients and projects are well managed.

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Leadership - Lead the Project Management team in all locations through the development of department goals & objectives that align with the business objectives of Triton Technical.

Supervision - Management of staff, including annual reviews, timesheet review, scheduling, and work priorities.

Process & Procedure - Develop, evaluate, and manage pre-defined processes to meet defined objectives.

Project Management & Reporting - Coordinate and manage staff and resources to support projects and their priorities within the client environment.

This position is primarily managerial & leadership focused (60%), project management (20%), and requires a technical background (20%).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Portfolio Management: Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, time, and budget.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and risks.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.

Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets.

Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management processes.

Performance Evaluation: Evaluate project manager and team performance, providing feedback as needed.

Additional Duties

Develop the team to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget.

Monitor and evaluate communication from the customer perspective.

Link business decisions to results and understand ROI.

Utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to work through challenges.

Communicate and follow-up with our worldwide customer base.

Enable open, constructive dialogue both intra- and interdepartmental.

Lead meetings for stakeholders and provide updates on progress.

Lead daily/weekly team meetings to inspire and coach teams.

Consult with and support other team members to ensure project involvement.

Compile and deliver reports related to projects using defined KPIs.

Identify areas for improvement.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.

Experience: Extensive experience in project management with a track record of delivering complex projects.

Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certifications preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills.

Requirements

8+ Years working with and leading a team.

8+ Years managing technical projects.

10+ Years of IT support experience.

Valid Driving License.
